Hi everyone, I’m excited to share this with you all today! A couple weeks ago Andy Hill, from the Marriage, Kids, and Money podcast, reached out to me about sharing our story of paying off our student loans. I’m a big fan of Andy’s podcast, so it was an honor to be featured.
Each episode, Andy has a segment called “Money Master of the Week,” which highlights someone in the personal finance community that has experienced a recent win with their finances. This week I was featured on this segment, talking about the steps we took to pay off our $40,000 of student loan debt and how we got started budgeting as a couple.
This was the first time I’ve been on a podcast, and it was a lot of fun! Marriage, Kids, and Money is a podcast that provides actionable information to help you win with money. I love how the show is relatable, inspiring, and family focused. You’ll definitely want to check it out if you’ve never listened before.
The episode is titled: Transition from Double Income to Single Income and Become a Stay-at-Home Mom. You can listen to the full episode below, (my interview is from 14:35 – 19:33). Check out more episodes here.
Thanks again to Andy for having me on the show and I hope you all enjoy the episode!
